Racing NASCAR
Girls Gone Wild, NASCAR style
By Buck Buckholz

Have you heard of the new NWF? You know the NASCAR Wrestling Federation. It will feature well-dressed beautiful women stomping, throwing bottles and cussing at their friends on a weekly basis. They will have to run down a crowded pit lane without disrupting the other teams and pronounce their fury to their opponent without receiving any repercussion from the governing body.

Of course this is fictional, right? Maybe the organization is, but the incident isn’t. For the first time that I can remember television captured the emotional outburst of one of the drivers girlfriends/wives/fiancé during a race. We are normally graced with a picture of serenity as the above sits on the pit box and nervously chews her nails while her husband/boyfriend fights for the win on the track. During the race at Texas it was a different story.

After Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle got together on the track, their “women folk” got together in the pits. Biffle’s other half yelled and threw things after what she thought was a bad move on Busch’s part.

I beg to differ. Like many I thought Busch was wrong, but a very good friend of mine brought up an interesting point. The conversation went like this.
“I’m not sure about Busch,” I said.
